Customer Service Officer - Paper & Pulp Sector

​The company

Our client is a European multinational firm in the Paper & Pulp trading sector. For their Italian office, we are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer, specializing in the Paper and Pulp sector. This is a position with exceptional growth potential in a dynamic company that is currently expanding its business globally.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receiving and dealing with client inquiries

  • Providing quotes according to client specifications

  • Monitoring, tracking and updating clients on the status of shipments

  • Entering information into the proprietary databases

  • Liaising with other international offices and the central Logistics Department to ensure shipments arrive according to customer requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Paper and Pulp industry in a similar position - experience in a multinational company will be considered a plus

  • Solid computer skills, including the ability to understand and handle Excel data reports, pivot tables and work with web-integrated workflows

  • Able to use multiple software platforms simultaneously to produce accurate outputs

  • Experience communicating verbally and in writing in a professional environment

  • Evidence of delivering high-quality customer experience in an ever-growing organisation

  • Very good command of English (official company language)

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
